Dear PAC-MI Members and Friends!
You are warmly invited to attend the remembrance mass this Sunday, to once again honor and pray for the 22,000 Polish soldiers and Poland’s intelligentsia, massacred in 1940, upon Stalin’s order, in the Katyn Forest, and at other Soviet prison camps, during WWII.
We will be remembering the 96 victims of the tragic Polish airplane crash, on April 5, 2010, near Smolensk, Russia, who were travelling to attend the 70th anniversary observances of the massacre at Katyn, and all of whom lost their lives in the crash, including Poland’s president, Professor Lech Kaczynski, his wife, and so many of Poland’s elite.
The mass will take place Sunday, April 23, 2023, at 5:00pm, at St. Faustina Church, 14025 E. 12 Mile Rd, in Warren, MI. Fr. Bogdna Milosz, pastor, will be the main celebrant. The Filarets Choir will be singing during this special service.
All Polonian organizations, including the Polish veterans, the Polish Scouts, Polish youth groups, members of PAC-MI, and those who wish to take part in this patriotic occasion, are sincerely asked to participate.
As in past years, there will be a small reception for attendees following the mass.
Please plan to join us for this important occasion.
On behalf of PAC-MI, Fr. Milosz, and the Filarets-
